Woodways Joins the Fight

Woodways joins the fight against breast cancer with a slogan that’s definitely not sugar coated!

Woodways employees woke up on Saturday, September 22, to a brisk fall morning. They stretched, got energized, and geared up to join thousands of others for the 15th Anniversary Susan G. Komen West Michigan Race for the Cure at Rivertown Crossings Mall in Grandville, MI. Our participants¬†proudly stood up to cancer and told them who’s boss with shirts that read, “Breast Cancer can EAT MY SAWDUST!”

Woodways is a firm believer in being involved in the community and giving back. We are proud to be a part of such an amazing cause and support the survivors, those we’ve lost to breast cancer, and the research to minimize the losses.

We are so humbled to join so many people in the fight against breast cancer. This is only the beginning for Woodways support for cancer research and other amazing organizations, and we’re looking forward to the next opportunity! Look for our Woodways runners at Run Through the Rapids on October 20th, where we’ll support the¬†YMCA Camp Manitou-lin¬†Scholarship Fund, which helps send children to summer camp and reduces tuition costs for all young campers. Let’s make a difference together… one step at a time!
