Imagine your favorite picture. Your favorite part may be the way it makes you feel, the way the image was captured perfectly, or possibly the way the colors just seem to flow together. Do you ever wish that you could use those colors to decorate your kitchen, office, or bathroom? Now you can.

Similar to Pinterest’s “Pin It” button, Sherwin Williams has created “Chip It.” It’s the first web-based interactive tool that the company has come out with and it has taken the paint world to a new level. By adding the Chip It button to your toolbar, you can generate the color palette from any image you upload or anything found on the internet. Chip It will identify 10 paint colors in the selected image from over 1,500 Sherwin Williams colors. Watch the demo here.

By creating a log in for the website, you can save your color palettes for future ideas and designs. If you see a color from Chip It that isn’t quite the color you’re looking for, Woodways can create a custom color through Sherwin Williams to get the right shade for your cabinetry within your design. By bringing your ideas from Houzz, Pinterest and Chip It, our designers can accurately identify your style, color preferences, and vision to make sure you get exactly what you want.
